Farm Description:
The Blue Farm is a small 5-acre farm located at the eastern edge of Monroe County. We are nestled in the woods, between Yellowwood State Forest and Morgan Monroe State Forest. We grow berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries), vegetables/ fruits (a variety of greens, tomatoes, okra, eggplant, peppers and more), herbs (especially basil), and flowers for cutting. One of our main products is our eggs. We have 130 hens and sell our eggs directly to our customers. We have recently expanded into growing year-round due to our two hoop houses where we grow greens in Fall and Winter. We grow our food organically and sustainably, with permaculture principles in mind. The Blue Farm is also a teaching farm receiving the vital energy and creativity of IU SPEA interns.

We sell from our farm directly and will soon be selling at the market in Bean Blossom, near Nashville.
