Elizabeth Dorman is new to the board of directors for the LGG and is honored that the LGG members elected her to the board as she hopes to use her administrative and management talents to the betterment of LGG. Additionally, she feels very strongly about having a strong local growing network that all community members can take advantage of. Elizabeth has been a CSA member for years and loves creating plant based meals from scratch which include locally sourced ingredients for friends and family. She enjoys educating others on the benefits of a mostly plant based diet and helping them see what benefits they can gain from eating plenty of fruits and vegetables, hopefully from local growers!
Elizabeth Dorman moved to the Bloomington area in 2012 from Kansas where she obtained her Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Kansas and worked as an intern for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. She has lived in many other states and loves getting to know a community and area for their natural resources and specific vibe. Bloomington, IN has proved to be a special place for Elizabeth as it is where so many cultures, diverse topographies and types of activities converge.
